Adriano Masciarelli

Founder/President  of BEHIND THE GRIND,  Inspired by family members in the industry, he took a keen interest to film in particular. Adriano wrote, produced, and acted in his own film "Irish Whisper" which had actors from the hit TV show The Sopranos and the inspirational biopic "The Fighter". After he established himself, he decided to move to Los Angeles, California. Inspired to become an exceptional Businessman and visionary film maker.Possessing an innate ability to build strong relationships and networking, he has established strong relationships with talent agencies and Negotiated deals with top social media companies. Beginning of 2016 Adriano was one of the judges for a Talent Showcase in Los Angeles, with Demi Lovato, Wilmer Valderrama, Linda Septien, and Dallas Lovato. The proceeds help support The Patrick Lovato Foundation. The organization helps Provide scholarships for individuals needing help with mental illness, Self harm, eating disorders, and addiction.


Tai Truesdell

 Tai Truesdell, a 20 year veteran in both International and Domestic film and television distribution and rights management.  To date, Tai has  placed product  through various companies on a number of platforms, including Warner Brothers, Twentieth Television, AXS, Cine Latino, and a myriad of International entities.




Johnny Messner

 JOHNNY MESSNER has had a long career as a distinguished and versatile actor in both film and television. He is known for his strong supporting roles co-starring along side Bruce Willis in TEARS OF THE SUN (2003), HOSTAGE (2005), and THE WHOLE TEN YARDS (2004). 

You may know him best from his series regular role on the FOX series, KILLER INSTINCT, where Johnny played the riveting Detective Jack Hale.  He's studied acting with Lesly Kahn, Vincent Chase and at the Actor’s Studio in New York City. Johnny is currently based in Los Angeles and lives with his partner Kathryn Morris and their two twin boys, Rocco and Jameson.



Mike Manning is a professional guitarist, musical director, writer and artist developer. He toured with Demi Lovato for seven years and has additionally worked with Nick Jonas, the Jonas Brothers, Dallas Lovato, Hunter Parrish, Sandra Bernhard and musical director Adam Blackstone among others. Mike is currently in Los Angeles, writing with multiple producers and artists, and is music directing several projects.

Founding partner in Planet X Productions, a new production company specializing in high concept series and movies, with an emphasis on sci-fi, fantasy and horror. Prior to that, I worked at NBCU's Syfy and Chiller networks for over 20 years. EVP at Syfy from 2008-2014, I ran Syfy's programming department, and at Chiller was most recently EVP in charge of Chiller's strategic operations. At the networks, I specialized in independent movie production and series co-productions. I developed, commissioned and supervised over 300 original movies (including viral hits, Sharknado 1 & 2), numerous original scripted series co-pros, and documentary and reality series and specials. 


Known film roles were as Eddie Wilson in Eddie and the Cruisers (1983) and its sequel Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives! (1989), as well as Streets of Fire (1984) and The Philadelphia Experiment (1984). Other films include Moon 44 (1990), Village of the Damned (1995), Bad Moon (1996), Hope Floats (1998) and The Virgin Suicides (1999). On television, Paré starred with Michael Beck on the CBS police drama Houston Knights (1987), as well as the short lived science fiction series Starhunter (2000).
